Cloud Viewer _Take Home Activity

This week the students learned about warm air versus cool air, how air has weight, how clouds are formed, and the different types of clouds. Today was one of those perfect, beautiful, sunny days that we usually love here at the Arboretum. Unfortunately, there was not a single cloud in the sky for Cloud Day!

For their activity this week, we sent the students home with cloud viewers. Take your kiddos outside one day this week and look for clouds. Lay on the ground, holding the cloud viewer up to the sky, and try to identify which type of clouds you see.

Here are some pictures from today’s classes.
